Cool-climate Syrahs from Sonoma County.

Eight square leagues of land stretching along the North coast from the Estero Americano to the Russian River, Bodega Rancho was originally granted to Captain Stephen Smith in 1844 by the Governor of California, Manuel Micheltorena.

This area of the "True Sonoma Coast", totaling approximately 35,000 acres at the edge of the North American Continent, is one of the finest winegrowing regions in the world. Highly regarded for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards, we have also found it to be an outstanding region for producing elegant, focused Syrah.
